- I am so thankful for the ability to read and learn.
« Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.~Buddha | Main | For each morning with its light,For rest and shelter of the night,For health and food, for love and friends,For everything Thy goodness sends.~Ralph Waldo Emerson »

I'm thankful that my nephew wasn't injured during his playoff H.S. football game last night.

I waould like to participate if that would be ok. I'm typically a lurker, but I am working on nurturing "being" and had found that for me, gratitude indeed helps me be present - to savor and sense the moment by searching for the moments for which I am grateful. If it's ok with you, please pm me and I will comment, if you prefer to remain more confidential, I understand. Regardless, thank you for bringing it up on your Blue blog and mentioning it. I have a very negative friend and just Thursday, I was thinking how gratitude is a gift itself - one which my poor friend lacks. T
