Long time no Blue Monday!  Don't take offense Blue Monday people, I haven't been blogging at all.  Just the way I ride sometimes.

This week Blue Monday is coinciding with my frustration in finding buttons for a sweater that has been knitted and blocked and sewn together and sitting in a heap in a knitting bag since the beginning of April and now needs re-blocking because I just cannot find buttons for it.  While I know I am picky, this truly has been a challenge.  Even when other people are shopping with me they can't find something to settle on.  That is when I know it isn't me.

One of the biggest problems is that I found a button for it.  Two buttons, actually.  I found them in my button collection and while I must have purchased them at some time in the past for something, I can't remember what that was.  A sewing project, perhaps?  Probably, I think I would remember if it was for a knitting project, but there are no guarantees of that.  If I could remember I would have ripped the buttons off of that item for sure!  Now that I have those two buttons in hand, no other button is really matching the perfection that they are.  At least for this sweater.

This is where my plea comes in.  I'm inviting you to join me in my Quest For The Button!  Search your buttons stashes, if you have friends that sew or craft in any way and have buttons stashed away, send them to look over here and check their buttons.  I'm willing to trade, barter, pay for and of course pay for shipping to have them sent to me.  The more the merrier!  I have a blouse cut out and those buttons would be perfect for that as well!  Wouldn't it be awesome if I got enough!?

The buttons are blue (duh), vary in the marbled effect and measure about 5/8".
