Try this. It doesn't work on all browsers, but it worked on Firefox on my mac perfectly. So.Cool.
So I guess today I'll share a quick project because I am beat, it has been a busy day and the post I planned on writing isn't fully formed just yet. So, here is a weakness of mine, fingerless mittens. I love them and keep knitting them.
Pattern: Midnight-With a Twist! by Ferol Max (ravelry link-free download)
Yarn: Socks That Rock Heavyweight in Lucy in the Sky
Needles: size 2. I think.
Cast On: January 25, 2011
Bound Off: January 29, 2011
I love this yarn color. I have knitted socks with it and loved it then. This yarn is leftover yarn, but not the leftovers from the socks I knitted. Nope, this was a tiny bit of leftover yarn that a raveler had in their stash for sale and I bought it. Really. That's how much I love this color. It was just enough for these fingerless mitts and I love them.
See that cable? It was a witch with a capital B! The weight of the yarn on those small needles and working cables with lots of stitches was not an easy thing, but the mitts are dense and warm and I love them.
2011. Twenty-four. $6.75. Props to my personal photographer, Cheryl!
Edited to add: DO YOU SEE THAT! The project details are centered just the way I like them and haven't been able to do after Typepad upgrades! I figured out how to do it!! Yay!
