So much to say. No time to say it.
In my last post I featured photos of a quilt I was working on. I have lots to say about it, I have been photographing most of the process and will share.
Right now we are in time-out from each other.
In the meantime I made this:
It was a nice break from the other project and I was hyper-focused so I didn't photograph the process. Sorry. There are things I love about this and things I hate. I love the fabrics, but I think it is too busy. And please ignore the checkerboard center. I tried a new-to-me technique for piecing that was posted on Oh, Fransson! this same week! Just when I was doing something just like it! While I loved it and will do it again, I botched it a little. Some of my squares were cut a little too large and that is a problem. And while you are instructed to press and lift I think I may have moved my iron a little and that made a wonky mess. Next time will be the charm.
I'll have more to say after I quilt and bind it, but for now that's what I've been doing.
2012. Six. $1.85. Seriously. Six posts since the beginning of the year. And I will pay for this again at the end of the month......why?

I can't wait to see it quilted! Have fun tomorrow!!

Because if you don't, I may not hear all you have to say about your quilt. And perhaps you'd like to talk about something else.

I agree that it's a little busy but I think once you quilt it that will improve it immensely. Trying new techniques is a good thing, even when they don't work exactly the way you'd hoped.

You're going to pay because we're here and you can't leave us! As vicki said, you have plenty to say when you say it. Please stay.
