The jazz world lost a legend today, but I hope that in heaven there will be a wonderful jam and that among the audience will be my Dad, a huge fan and jazz enthusiast.

I had not heard about Dave Brubeck! My father also introduced me to jazz through Brubeck. I have been fortunate enough to see him live twice. I'm heartbroken, but know he will live on through his legacy.
