You should do that once, just to see what the good doctor would do.

cryptic, yes. is it me? was it somehting I said? did I miss a phone call? do I suck?
(Yeah, I always think it's about me. You know that Carly Simon song? Even though I was 6 when she wrote it, I still wonder when it's on the radio. . .)

Norma

cryptic, yes, indeed. I'm sitting here trying to decipher, and just like Julia, saying, "is it me? Have I done something to offend? Some omission or commission?" Nah, I think if it were me, you'd be screaming at me direc'ly, as they said in the Old West movies. 'least I hope so. And girl, do I know what you're talkin' about with the chiro. Love 'em to hurt me. Really, I do.

Gawd I love chiropractic. AND deep tissue massage, the harder the better. I've had a bad back most of my life, nothing in partiular, maybe it's my height or my posture, who knows, but my chiro can fix me up. I would go every day if I could afford it. Hurt me, baby! Oh yeah, that's the spot.

Sister...yes, we think alike. I have to be drug(ged) kicking and screaming to see a doc. I wait until the problem is so bad I can't move or the pain is so great it has to be something bad...it usually is.
Deep tussie massage started my sciatia pain so be careful. If it hurts too much it can't be good. Hanging upside down might help your neck, however. Hope you can get back to knittin' soon.

Christina

I always think the worst is wrong when I have to go to doctors too. I put off going for way too long all the time.

Stacey

I absolutely, love deep tissue work. My husband thinks I am crazy because I pay someone to actually do a massage that causes pain, but after a few days of soreness, I feel great.

Sometimes you need someone to get in those tight knotted muscles and work the kinks out...and it does hurt so good...

I adore my chiropractor, he literally has folk hero status in my life, because before I started getting adjustments, I just lived with chronic neck pain.

Anyway, I hope you continue to feel better,

Stacey

Ok, I have one for you ~
About 5 minutes ago I decided the heating pad would not take the pain in my neck away, I went to backpack and found the good 'ol lidoderm patch - Main ingrediant is LIDOCAINE.....Ok I work with all men and knew I could not ask any of them to help me put it on my upper back....Off to the bathroom I go, hair up, shirt off and bend over thinking gravity will help with the correct application. IT WORKED!!!! I came out laughing to myself, thinking I am glad no cameras. Three disks out of whack in one neck is almost more then one can bare. When I arrive home today there should be a box containing one very fine HOME TRACTION DEVICE. I showed hunny the picture online and he is fabricating in his head a pully system above our bed so I can watch TV while "tracting" (or whatever the act is called) I think the pully system is a bit extreme, I told him I can sit in a chair and knit, my God man can it get any better????/ Besides HYDROCODONE is best enjoyed alone while knitting mindless patterns.
Take care friend in neck pain.
Betsy
