Ten Best Gifts You've Ever Given.
- To Gillian I once gave life.
- I gave Meagan, well, life. Not an easy one.
- Then there was the time I gave life to Erin. Wait, she was a pita in the womb, so it is debatable, the recipient of that gift.
- There was the time I gave Pete that chance at fatherhood.
- And that time.
- Oh, and that time.
- Made people grandparents. I'll just count that one once.
- There was the day that I gave Pete my life in exchange for his. AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Now there is one present that has been FILLED with surprises! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
- How about all those times I walked into the room, any room. The gift of my presence. Many of you have received that. HEH.
- The best gift I have given has been to myself, the gift of my family and friends, loving them and sharing life with them has been a gift to myself that can't be measured by any standard.
Fifteen to go!!! Electricity still out for thousands, schools are closed again tomorrow (four days for those who may be counting) and many roads are still not passable. Three storms predicted over the next several days. I love the winter weather........ Mostly.
Your take on this post made me smile!

I try not tell remind my daughter that I "gave" her life. She shudders at the thought. Since I want grandchildren someday, I keep a low profile on that gift.

A great list. Maybe I should inform my kids that giving them life should be gift enough.
Actually they're all getting mostly homemade (read knit) gifts this year, aside from a few books.

Wonderful interpretation of this week's theme. I especially like #8 and couldn't agree more about #9.
