The Princess Bride is my fav!

 margene

So many I haven't seen because I don't go to movies often and haven't had children to get me to see the more modern films.

Kim

The Labyrinth, The Never Ending Story, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe are biggies here with the kids along with many that you mentioned.

Vicki

The Land Before Time (first -- and only, in my book), The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio, and yeah, a whole bunch more!!

jill

I still love The Red Balloon, The Parent Trap, and Swiss Family Robinson.

I'm with you on Mary Poppins! When my daughter was about 4, it was on a continuous loop at our house. We'd watch about 30 minutes every night, get to the end, start all over. Now that she's a big almost-7, her favorite might be the Sound of Music but we still keep Mary in the rotation. Maybe one of these days we'll try something made after 1965!

When I was a kid (~ the same time as you), I loved the TV version of Cinderella with Lesley Ann Warren, Celeste Holm, Ginger Rogers, and Walter Pidgeon.
