Since last Friday I have....
- Visited a wonderful quilt shop and had lunch with Kim, a wonderful day.
- Started a shawl something like four times and then, after finally settling on a loosey-goosey plan have ripped and reknit for mistakes and re-dos. I'm still loving it though!
- Had lunch with Meg sitting outside in Harvard Square on the most beautiful weather day that can be conceived by Mother Nature. We got some great iced tea, too!
- Made a halter top out of some pretty blue fabric.
- Spent an evening not spinning or knitting (the wheel stayed in the trunk) with some really great friends that I just don't get to see often enough. The pizza was excellent!
Lucky you!

It was fun - even if we didn't spin!

Re: #2. I haven't knit much lace yet, and nothing too complicated, but I've already realized that this scenario is going to be the norm. It wouldn't be nothin' without the "lovin'."

Sounds like loads of fun, but this is a blog and we want proof! Sounds like a great week.

I am busting to tell you! On your recommendation, I purchased the book "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett!. I devoured it in a lazy weekend (last) and was soooo sorry it ended!!! Thank you, thank you thank you and now my DD is reading it and plans to introduce it as an offering for her book club! I am fascinated by the years and years when the world felt so superior to other races. Amazing stuff!
