They're terrific. I used to do a lot of cross stitch, but haven't in the past 15 years or so.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with them. Happy stitching!

You make me smile! Esp the reference to missing your calling. I used to dabble a wee bit in cross stitch when my kids were little too. It is fun!

I used to love cross stitch. My favorite was 22 count cloth with a single thread. And I learned to not use a hoop and that made for a better finished piece.

Terry they are GREAT! I used to do a lot of cross stitch back in the day. Yours are very pretty!

Very pretty! I always admire cross-stitch and needlepoint, but you'd never catch me doing it myself....

LOL! I have some needlepoint kits (three?) that got stuffed in the closet when I started to knit.

Wow. You've been busy!

No needlepoint for me. I can't be trusted with small needles.

I was a huge cross stitcher back in the day -- when the kids were little. I found it easier to put down and pick up for a few minutes at a time than anything else. It was a forgiving indicator of my stress level throughout a project, too, as knitting perhaps would not have been. I was ALWAYS drawn to the quilt motifs, family history/tree designs, and repro samplers. Loved working on linen. Christmas In Williamsburg 1992 was my first "fiber" -related seminar I ever attended.
