So here we are in Florida, combining a little bit of a vacation with dropping Erin off at school this week. Thought Blue Monday would be a time to share these not so great photos of the artwork in my hotel room. I love them. Two are so beachy and the others are just peaceful to look at.
It isn't very easy to photograph art behind glass trying to deal with the various glares and reflections around the room.
I almost gave it up. I mean, I haven't even participated in Blue Monday for a lot of Mondays.
But I decided to go for it anyway and this is what you get.
This last one is my favorite, I think. It was actually a bit darker and had less contrast in the colors. I could look at it all day. I should have found out who the artist was to see if I could get a print. Well, there is an internet rabbit hole to fall into if I've ever come up with one. I'll inform you of my progress.
We are in Florida to drop a kid off at school and combining it with a bit of a vacation. I have had a case of camnesia that should be happening on vacation, especially when there is so.much.BLUE! I'll try and be better.
Thanks Sally! You host a good excuse to blog!
2010. Sixty-four. Today was "Day Cranky" of vacay. You know how there is always a cranky day, the excitement, stress, relaxation, throwing personalities together that haven't really spent this much "together time" with each other in ages. It's fun. Especially when one or two people are on Day Cranky and at least two are on "Day Silly!!!!" The two usually combine to make the "Day Cranky" people crankier and the "Day Silly!!!!" people into instigators of more cranky. Tomorrow is Harry Potter Day. Better, right?
Welcome to my state, Teresa.
Happy Blue Monday!
