The weather has been awesome but I hear it's about to change. It's weird, usually once we start using the woodstove it's going nonstop until late April. Not this year, though. We had a week's worth of fires and now we've stopped.

It's quite cold here, but the sky is clear and the moon was amazing last night. It's a changeable time of year and every nice day a blessing.

First snow here yesterday!

I disagree about spring: we DO have spring here. THere is a long spell of weather that is cold at night and fairly chilly (50's)in the day, sometimes sunny and sometimes rainy. This is followed by a spell that is cold at night and a little warmer during the day -- maybe low 60's.

This contrasts with the midwest, where I grew up, where there are two days of spring ... followed by summer!

Ya know, I think I like them more and more every year.

So, did you give up already!?
