Your new sweater is being dyed tomorrow. ;-) My dried gauge was spot on, so you should be all set.

I was just looking through an old Reynolds LOPI pattern book and 'dreaming' of knitting a sweater... If I choose a pullover, would you help me turn it into a cardigan?

Jennifer

Ha - I LOVE knitting sleeves in the round from the top-down. In fact, it's my preferred method. I usually add a faux seam and amuse myself by altering the pattern to make sleeves knit in the round from the top-down. Good luck finishing. The next project will be here soon.

If I ever had the change to finish a sweater I think I'd like working from the top down. The sleeve would be as long as it needs to be without worry. Just finish the da*m sweater, grrl! Then you can WEAR it!

Diane

Ah nice, I have knit that sweater. You c o u l d go up in size and to use your yarn, just a bit of swatching and a bit extrapolating. Btw, where have you gotten your "Knit by" tags? I've just run out .

Carole

How about if you FINISH the current sweater first? Ahem.

i prefer knitting sleeves in the round to knitting them flat, seaming, setting them in...too fussy. but the planning thing is a sickness i suffer as well.
