Ten On Tuesday

I'm not a regular participant of most weekly things because 1. I am not a reliable blogger and 2. I can't always figure out how to contribute.

Ten Things On My Mind?! I can wrap my mind around that one, can't I? So here goes! Ten things on MY mind.

1. I need to write my blog post, a good thing for 10 things on my mind! First, I need a cup of tea, what tea shall I brew.......? (off to brew a pot of tea)
2. Okay, blog. Hmmm, maybe I should take or find a picture for this post. I wonder if I can get the photos off of my broken camera? (off to find camera)
3. Okay, blog. (spots knitting on table) NaKniSweMo! (picks up knitting and knits a few rows)
4. Okay, blog. (puts knitting down, eyeing it suspiciously) Is alternating skeins of this hand dyed yarn looking stripey? (spends a long time examining it in different light, photographing it and playing with the contrast to see how that makes it look) Can't decide, I should knit a few more rows.
5. Okay, blog! (sipping tea) Ugh, my tea is cold. I've been meaning to get one of those warmers for my little cast iron teapot. (falls down rabbit hole googles it) OH NO! I forgot to answer a message from a friend asking about tea kettles! (another fall down google it) Bottom line, I love my Zojirushi. (scuttles off to dispense water from it onto her tea leaves)
6. Okay, blog! WAIT! Did I find a tea pot warmer.....? Why would a teapot warmer have wine/water goblets on it? (ponders while sipping cool tea)(again)
7. Okay, BLOG! (hears chime) You've got Mail!
8. Okay, BLOG! Ooops, all that green tea makes you p*e! (runs to powder room, sees laundry to do, folds a load, collects more laundry, takes a shower-I mean, I'm up here collecting the laundry, right?-)
9. Okay, BLOG! (spies newly acquired stash within fondling reach) Oooh, I just love this yarn I got from Jen at Spirit Trail! And this yarn I got from Briar Rose! And this Portland Tweed! Or maybe I'll knit some stash yarn! (down another rabbit hole heads to ravelry to look for something to knit)
10. BLOG! The election is on my mind, I'd better go vote.....
