Okay, a fly-by. Some of the women who show up during the week to knit with me and listen to me go on and on and on about swatches (I mean, seriously. You have to knit one! Sorry, but I'm gonna make you!) and sometimes learn from me wanted to participate in the Ravellenic Winter Games 2014. You know, NOT the Ravelympics (shhhh, no such thang!), but happening concurrent to the Olympic Games. That.
So with the help of Lisa aka boxerknits we have started a team that is open to anyone who might want to participate or watch and laugh cheer the Doozer Knitters on! This is serious business, people! We have a ravatar!
I made that! It's a little rough, but it'll do the trick, right? And you know what else?
WE HAVE A SONG!!!!!
We were stumped for a name until I found that video from Fraggle Rock, one of Jim Henson's best efforts ever, and it sealed the team!
So, like I said, we are open to anyone. If you were thinking of trying to get something done during the games, join us! We are the most laid back team ever. As in, do whatever you want and expect little from the captains. We'll do our best, but mostly? You might be kind of on your own, the most I can promise is that I'll be knitting, too!
Seven. Stop laughing.
I'm not going to start something new but I do want to buckle down and finish my Miss BB sweater. I think that disqualifies me for the ravellenic games.

Well, I'd like to join ... but I doubt I could finish anything during the Olympics. Hmm ... maybe a pair of socks ... for Ingrid.
