Random list and it may be a short one because
- I'm having trouble coming up with the first item on the random thought list.
- Not a single thought.
- If I was meditating this would be what I was striving for.
- Except for all that talk of non-striving, which means I'd be succeeding and failing at the same time.
- But I'm actually trying to have a thought and getting nowhere.
- I know, I'll try meditating, that's when I have my best thoughts.
- Heh, anyway.....
- My Holiday Music listening season will begin this week.
- Thanksgiving is on the late side this year, so why should I miss those days?
- I shouldn't.
- Regarding my post of Wednesday the 11th, I may have been less than clear about my hoarding of packing materials.
- Full disclosure: I also save any of those nifty shopping bags made of paper and with handles.
- I use them as gift bags.
- I'm not kidding.
- A little tissue paper (sometimes saved from a gift or a package) and WaLa!
- It's the gift and the thought that counts.
- (Unless you are meditating.)
- Mostly the gift though, right?
- (That's a joke!)
- And my thought is that I just saved a part of a tree or something.
- And a few bucks.
- The other misconception that some people may have had, thanks to me not being entirely clear is that I hoard to KEEP or HAVE.
- I would say that I SAVE to USE.
- I never know when I am going to list a bunch of stuff I'm so over to ebay or on a ravelry list and then I have plenty on hand to pack and protect.
- I do agree, I may have saved more than I might use anytime soon, but then again, I've been packing some of my own stuff up and it is coming in handy.
- I have loads of stuff in a pile that will likely make a yard sale.
- I could try to put some of it on ebay, but my enthusiasm level is sitting at Goodwill drop off.
- Or lower.
- Like at 'leave that pile in the corner until I absolutely cannot stand it anymore' kind of enthusiasm.
Thirty-two. Two packages arrived in the mail today. They were filled with perfect bubble wrap and that foam wrap stuff and the boxes are perfect! Stashing away.
Thank you for giving me an excuse to start my Christmas music BEFORE Thanksgiving :)

I started with the Christmas music this week, too. Only in the car so far.

We have trucks come by from a couple of charities and they haul away anything I've been trying to get to Goodwill. I also keep any bag with handles to regift...and tissue paper, too. It's a smart thing to do! My house is a Christmas music free zone.
